The funky footwear we all know and love has been around for only 18 years. In 2002 three innovators: Scott Seamans, Lyndon Hanson, and George Boedbecker Jr. Designed the first pair of ‘Crocs’ In Boulder, Colorado, United States. They have been floating around fashion ever since and now have become our latest necessity.

I feel like crocs are that pair of shoes that are considered “pretty ugly”, though somehow are the most versatile thing we own. We all have our likes and dislikes, but when it comes to crocs you just can’t have a problem with them. They’re a classic.

I am so beyond glad that crocs are back in because they are so cool. I wore them all the time when I was in primary school and loved how you could flip the strap over, I can’t describe it they are just so nostalgic.

Along with being an anchor to my childhood, they can be worn with absolutely anything and look great. I recently bought the platform crocs in the colour ‘Orchid’ and am in love!! I will be wearing them all summer. I got mine from Urban Outfitters, which are currently out of stock in that colour. However, you can easily buy them straight from crocseurope.

Crocs will stand out on their own so wear and tear with your fun footwear of the season.
