Now that it is finally a new year with new beginnings I was hoping to write something fresh. However, I am feeling particularly nostalgic on the topic of ’Bratz’ and as it is the 20th anniversary of the Bratz dolls first being released by MGA Entertainment and created by Carter Bryant in 2001, I find it necessary to discuss the impact that these fashion-forward characters have brought to not only myself but a huge fan base, as well.
From starting as dolls to moving onto movies and a tv series, these four best friends Pretty Princess, Bunny Boo, Kool Kat and Angel. AKA; Yasmin, Sasha, Jade and Chloe, are inspiring people with their style attitude and friendship. I have always loved this franchise because of its personality and wardrobe. You can see the character definition of each girl’s unique style, which really spoke out to me when I was younger. The animation was so different from everything else in the early 2000s and that brought out a distinct image for their brand, which I am very fond of. 🖤
Bratz dolls I believe will forever stay style icons. They make dressing more fun by not sticking to trends all the time, whilst instead mixing things up with incorporating pieces from decades past to create a beautiful look. If you want some style inspiration search Bratz on Pinterest although I would seriously suggest watching a Bratz movie, my favourite is (Bratz Fashion Pixies) the iconic yet questionable skirts over jeans take place in this film, a controversial fashion statement to most whereas Bratz makes it look fierce. These girls are my role models and I’m so thankful to have them.
Keep doing you with a ’Passion For Fashion’ ✨
